About ShoppForge
ShoppForge is an open-source community project created to make it easier for developers, agencies, and merchants to build, test, and share Shopware projects — faster and without setup headaches.
We provide free demo and development environments where you can explore Shopware, experiment with code, and collaborate in real time — all through a browser-based VS Code editor. Every site runs in its own isolated workspace, giving you full access to the Shopware codebase right from your browser.
When you’re ready to go live, you can deploy with any Shopware hosting partner or connect your own cloud account (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, etc.). This go-live functionality is currently in Beta, and we’re inviting the community to test and shape it together — contact us.
ShoppForge is part of the DevPanel Open Source Community Initiative, which supports developers and agencies working with modern open-source platforms. DevPanel provides the underlying automation and infrastructure that powers ShoppForge — helping the community focus on building great eCommerce experiences instead of managing servers.
Our goal is simple: To help the Shopware community build faster, collaborate easier, and share their work more freely.
